Were looking for someone to join our team as a Director, Revenue Cycle Market Operations who:
Act as a market(s) based business operator to identify and provide resolutions for the revenue cycle leadership team. Helps establish opportunities and focus at the market levels individually. Collaborates with Business Intelligence team on data aggregation. Builds relationships and acts as relationship owner with key market constituencies (finance officers, physician advisors, Medical Directors, care coordination, utilization management, community physicians, IT, etc.) and operates independently. Understands business practices and communicates to all levels of satisfactory performance and areas of opportunity related to cash to goal, accounts receivables, unbilled invoices, uncompensated care and denials, bad debt, charity, administrative, and cost of ownership/cost to collect.
Essential Functions:
- Owns the market relationships related to revenue cycle partnership and performance outcomes. Manages the market based revenue cycle operations. Collaborates effectively with market finance officers, physician advisors, Medical Directors, care coordination, utilization management, etc.).
- Works with leadership toward achieving agreed upon strategies. Knows when to delegate opportunities to individual markets for resolution. Brings solutions to issues and executes towards opportunity resolution in a highly autonomous manner.
- Performs analysis and monitors performance metrics. Understands business practices and communicates to all levels of satisfactory performance and areas of opportunity related to cash to goal, accounts receivables, unbilled invoices, uncompensated care and denials, bad debt, charity, administrative, and cost of ownership/cost to collect.
- Evolves and adapts to market and macro healthcare trends, threats, and opportunities.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Youll be successful with the following qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Masters Degree: Preferred
Work Experience:
- Seven years related experience: Preferred
- Five years leadership experience: Preferred
